Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Volkswagen ID. BUZZ, ID.BUZZ Cargo, ID.3, ID.7 model vehicles.

Battery cells in the high-voltage battery can show increased self-discharge due to a manufacturing error on the part of the supplier. In the event of significant self-discharge, the yellow warning light may come on. In the display, the following warning message appears: ‘Electronic system does not work correctly. Please go to workshop.’. Thermal overload may occur within the high-voltage battery.

There are 7 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 02 September 2023 to 21 March 2024.

Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Volkswagen Amarok model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby there could be a loss of braking power from the electronic brake booster (EBB) module. If the power brake assist fails, brake pedal travel and braking distance may increase. This increases the risk of accidents and injuries.

There are 270 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 10 January 2025 and 12 June 2025.
