Lapierre is recalling several models of Aircode DRS and Xelius SL bicycles due to a risk of injuries from potential fork failure. The aluminium shim may cause indentations on the fork steerer tube, which could develop into cracks over time.

The risk reported to the CCPC is that of injuries. The aluminium shim may leave indentations on the fork steerer tube. Over time, these indentations could develop into cracks. This could cause the fork to fail during use, potentially leading to injuries.
