A safety issue has been identified whereby there is a risk of fluid ingress into the connector housing, resulting in corrosion of the connector pins. This could cause various electrical issues depending on which pin is affected — for example, a stuck parking brake, difficulty starting the vehicle, multiple error messages displayed, or loss of power steering functionality.  The solution is to replace the bumper harness and inline connector.
