Nextcar Limited recalls certain Triumph motorcycles

20 March 2026

Nextcar Limited is carrying out a recall on certain Triumph Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Street Scrambler, Scrambler 900, Street Twin, Speed Twin 900 model vehicles.

The risk description reported to us is that a combination of high ambient temperatures, high current loading and excessive lateral tension may cause the wiring between the alternator and the harness connector to form a bridge. If the connector blades bridge, a thermal threshold may be reached beyond the connector system’s capacity, thereby leading to deformation of the connector. This can result in a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire, and creating a risk of accident.

There are 40 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 23 November 2020 to 04 December 2023.
