Hyundai Cars Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Hyundai Kona model vehicles.
Faulty battery monitoring software is unable to promptly detect thermal instability within high-voltage battery, leading to increased risk of fire.
There are 3,483 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 24 January 2018 to 15 July 2023.

Hyundai Cars Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Hyundai i30 model vehicles.
The subject vehicles are equipped with a Driver-side Airbag (DAB) Inflator that could rupture during a commanded deployment event. If the DAB Inflator ruptures during deployment, the airbag may not fully inflate, and the release of high-pressured gas may propel pieces of the inflator and airbag module into the occupant compartment. This could increase the risk of injury to occupant(s) in a crash.
There are 2 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 07 December 2008 to 24 February 2009.

Hyundai Cars Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Hyundai Ioniq 6 model vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby the subject vehicles’ charging port door outer panel may have insufficient engagement between the outer panel retaining hooks and the charging port door, increasing the risk of detachment during operation. Detachment of the charging port door outer panel while driving can present a road hazard for other drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
There are 700 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 29 August 2022 and 03 January 2025.
