Gowan Distributors Limited (Honda Ireland) is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Honda Civic 4D, Civic Type R, Civic E:HEV, ZR-V E:HEV, CR-V E:HEV, CR-V P:HEV model vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby a reduction in the amount of grease in the steering gearbox during use results in dangerously fluctuating torque during steering. This increases the risk of an accident.
There are 311 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 01 August 2021 to 01 August 2024
